computerUseSettings/update

Applies one Settings patch (capability dropdowns, blocked apps to add or remove) all-or-nothing and answers the user’s Settings after it; a built-in block is refused in either list; computerUseUnavailable while the CUA gate is off (ADR 630 D18.17).

Parameters

Type: ComputerUseSettingsUpdateParams

computerUseSettings/update params: a patch. Omitted members are left alone; the whole patch applies or none of it does.

Field	Type	Stability	Presence	Description
apps	ComputerUseAppPatch[]		optional	Per-app choices to set. A locked app is refused; so is a bundle ID named twice, or also in blockApps or unblockApps.
blockApps	string[]		optional	Bundle IDs to add to the user’s blocked apps. A built-in block is refused: it is already blocked.
computerControl	ComputerUseChoice		optional	The new computer-control dropdown value.
screenshots	ComputerUseChoice		optional	The new screenshots dropdown value.
unblockApps	string[]		optional	Bundle IDs to remove from the user’s blocked apps. Only the user’s own entries can be removed; a built-in block stays.
