settings/writeValue

Experimental

Writes one key path’s absolute value (null clears the member to absent); answers the folded effective value.

Type: SettingsWriteValueParams

settings/writeValue params: {keyPath, value} — one persisted dotted key path verbatim with its new absolute value. A null value clears the member to absent and the built-in fallback applies, for every key group. Values are absolute, so a retry is naturally idempotent and the method carries no commandId.

Field Type Stability Presence Description
keyPath string Experimental required The persisted dotted key path verbatim (file spelling, transmitted as-is — a casing exemption in the commandRejected-reason sense, not camelCase wire vocabulary).
value string | boolean | null Experimental required The new absolute value, or null to clear the member to absent. Free-form: the per-key shape is enforced at the config seam.
